Statement by the President of Yasuj University condemning the Zionist regime’s aggression against our beloved country of Iran

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

   « مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِینَ رِجالٌ صَدَقُوا ما عاهَدُوا اللّهَ عَلَیْهِ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ قَضی نَحْبَهُ وَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ یَنْتَظِرُ وَ ما بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِیلاً »

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

 “Among the faithful are men who fulfill what they have pledged to Allah, there are some among them who have fulfilled their pledge, and some of them who still wait, and they have not changed (their determination) in the least(Al-Ahzab, 23)

 The horrific crime of aggression outside international custom and law, the gross violation of the United Nations Charter by the usurper and child-killing Israeli regime, and the martyrdom of several senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and a number of innocent and defenseless citizens, is further evidence of the malice and recklessness of an illegitimate entity that has based its existence on terror, aggression, and violation of international law.

The martyrdom of these dear ones will be the beacon of light for the Iranian nation on the path of dignity, progress, and defense of national security.

The Iranian academic community does not see the innocent blood of these elites and martyrs trampled.

We reserve the legal and religious right of the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic system to respond decisively, severely, and urgently to this crime, and we expect that appropriate and timely revenge will be taken from the criminals. Silence in the face of such barbarities will only embolden the enemies of humanity.

We call on scientific, academic, and legal communities around the world to condemn this terrorist act and war crime and expose the inhuman and aggressive nature of the Zionist regime, lay the groundwork for a scientific boycott, and cut off any cooperation with institutions affiliated with this regime.

International legal and judicial organizations, especially the International Criminal Court, are also expected to investigate and identify the perpetrators and commanders of this anti-human crime immediately and punish them.

The silence of the international community in the face of the repeated crimes of the Zionist regime is an irreparable blow to the fabric of international justice and peace. Today, it is the duty of all free people and responsible institutions around the world to stand up against this blatant injustice.

 On behalf of the scientific community and academics, I would like to express my condolences to the Supreme Leader and the entire Islamic nation of Iran on the martyrdom of a dear group of nuclear elites, brave commanders, and innocent citizens of our beloved homeland during the brutal and illegal attacks of the fake Israeli regime.

 Indeed, the memory and names of the dear martyrs of this painful event, especially the valuable scientists who were the scientific and national assets of the country, will always remain eternal in the hearts of the Iranian academic community. We will continue their path with greater strength and determination, and we promise that their blood will not only not be trampled on, but will also make the burning torch of awareness and resistance against global oppression and arrogance even brighter.
